This Man Confessed by Jodi Ellen Malpas

My Review

         Woah…

Reading this book felt like being on the Superman ride at Six Flags. Well…I’ve never actually been on that ride before but I’m sure the feeling is similar. But one thing I’m definitely sure of… this man finally confessed.

The amount of shocks, surprises, twists, and turns is insane! Connections were made and everything started to make sense. Even his reasons for acting like a crazy person seems justifiable.

This book…I liked this book. The first one I was heavily on the other side of the fence. Book 2 had me teetering on the fence. But this one had me firmly one the other side chillin’ on a chaise lounge.

Final Rating: 5 Stars

Comments & Side Notes

§  I seriously cannot deal with this guy. He’s literally two seconds from being married and this fool when he sees her, he HANDCUFFS her to him. IN THE AISLE! Like wtf?! How possessive must you be!? Everyone knows she’s yours and you’re hers so the handcuffing in front of everybody was highly unnecessary. But it's Jesse so I shouldn’t be surprised by his dramatics. I should’ve seen it coming.

§  Jesse’s Speech to Ava at the beginning of chapter 3: I want more of THAT Jesse. He can stay. The rest can go. *Swoon*

§  I should’ve known this book was going to be insane when Ava and Jesse spent their first week of marriage apart AND not speaking. Definitely not the way I’d way to start my marriage.

§  Ava’s Pregnancy: Holy. Shit. Not only did she get pregnant because her now husband was hijacking her birth control, but when she learns she’s carrying, she opts for an abortion, and doesn’t tell Jesse. When she chooses not to abort she tells him, only to get in a car accident leaving both of them to think she miscarried. But she didn’t, thankfully. But she does find out she’s having twins. I need a drink.

§  The Scene with Jesse and His Mum: whirlwind of emotions. But I loved seeing him in such a vulnerable position and Ava having to step up and get him away from it. Role reversals are the best.

§  And how about those crazy connections that were made near the end! Mind blowing!
